For Josh's mom's birthday and Christmas present, Josh and I made her a Farmhouse Table and Benches.
This thing is massive -- it's 7 feet long by 5 feet wide and seats 10 easily. It is skirted and we hand planed the top. I think we spent more time sanding it than we did building it :)
These photos are from before we added the legs -- we had to put the legs on inside the house because of its size :)
Here is one of the matching benches Josh made for it -- the lid is hinged for storage. I'm looking forward to having a table like this in our home!
